On 30 June, representatives of clusters, regional administrations, ministries and development agencies met in Lviv to discuss the path from local practice to a national cluster policy.
The Rivne team presented a model in which the Regional Development Agency acts as the operator and secretariat of the furniture cluster, while communities and regional government provide political support and infrastructure.
The presentation focused on what works in practice: trust between members, shared services, donor partnerships and turning external support into investment and new jobs.
A discussion with the Lviv Furniture Cluster highlighted another advantage of the event: regional industry clusters can exchange operating models, expertise and opportunities instead of only competing.
