Digital transformation of furniture SMEs across V4 and Ukraine

A 12-month V4–Ukraine initiative that helps furniture SMEs in the Rivne region reach V4 digital standards through comparative research, practical CAD/CAM, e-commerce and ERP training, five mentored pilot implementations, an open multilingual toolkit and an international conference in Poland.

Project objective

A practical bridge from digital ambition to measurable change

The project closes the digital adoption gap in furniture SMEs by combining V4 expertise with real implementation in Ukrainian companies. It will establish a shared evidence base, build practical skills and demonstrate measurable improvements in production planning, order processing and inventory accuracy.

What the project will deliver

01

Digital maturity benchmark

A comparative study of 60–80 furniture SMEs, supported by an open report and anonymised dataset.

Three practical training programmes

Hybrid CAD/CAM, ERP and e-commerce training for more than 60 SME representatives from the V4 and Ukraine.

Five digital pilot implementations

Five Ukrainian furniture SMEs will implement a priority digital solution with one-to-one mentoring from V4 experts.

04

Open-access multilingual toolkit

Ten practical modules, templates, tutorials and policy briefs available in English, Ukrainian, Hungarian and Polish.

05

Final international conference

Project results, pilot cases, matchmaking and a technology study visit in Wrocław, Poland.
